In 2015 we gratefully received an incredibly kind donation of £500 from John Ticehust’s daughter, in memory of her father’s days as a member of Llangorse Sailing Club. John is sadly missed at the club and he would have been happy to know that his memory will live on with all who knew him there, and that all club members who benefit from our new website do so as a result of his generous legacy, which funded its redesign in 2016. A very big thank you to John and his family from all here at Llangorse Sailing Club.
Special thanks also to Steve Brown Photography for all the effort gone into transferring our data and introducing a modern clean look to showcase our sailing club in all it’s glory.
Please have a browse… there’s loads of information there with side bars and drop down menus to navigate. We’d love your feedback. In the next few weeks we’ll be offering top tips for gaining the most out of the website from how to view live weather, booking onto a RYA Training Course, how to apply for membership or the easy way to download the sailing calendar to your mobile phone. We’ll also be populating the calendars further and making a few tweaks to ensure we’ve got everything there. Be sure to check the website for latest club news (Home Page -> left side bar -> scroll down to Recent News) or Facebook/Twitter which also publishes all our latest website updates.
We will of course need your help as volunteers to provide worthy news stories to keep the website up to date. So if you’ve taken pictures, have a few words to say about an event, a funny anecdote to contribute or anything club related, please share it with us by email and we will publish it on your behalf.
Current admins for the website are Charlotte Sparks, Dave Hemmingway and Frankie Deveraux (results).
Now’s the time to start using the LSC website as your first port of call for up to date sailing club information! Hope you enjoy your journey around the website and be sure to let us know how you get on.
